The following are key excerpts from the UFC 125 post-fight press conference from winners on the night's card in Dong Hyun Kim, Clay Guida, Jeremy Stephens and Thiago Silva.

Dong Hyum Kim (Defeated Nate Diaz by decision):

"I felt very comfortable on the ground. I did not think that he could submit me at all. I used UFC rules to try and stop him from kneeing me in the face. I did not think that it was controversial at all."

"I do not know what went wrong [late], I just got tired. I must continue to work and train harder. My original plan was to stand with him and go for the takedown later. But Nate knew that I was going for the takedown so I went straight toward the takedown, instead of letting Nate go for it first."

"I am well known in Japan. I am trying to become better known and better in the UFC. I came out to the old Pride theme song because I signed with Pride right before UFC bought them out. Fighting in Pride was my dream, so the theme song hyped me a lot because it was my dream.

"I called out GSP after the fight and I think that I can takedown GSP. I think that I can ground and pound him instead of trading with him."

Clay Guida (Choked out Takanori Gomi in round two):

"I thought I was wasting movement but, I saw him take a big deep breath and I knew that he was frustrated then I went after him. I committed to taking him down, where I wanted the fight to be."

"I bet he punches through walls in practice, you know what I mean? He clipped me with a couple of those and it phased me for a second. Gomi is no joke, I have watched him for a long time and he throws leather."

"To be a legend, you have to beat a legend. I am not saying I am up there yet, but I am working my way up slowly. The key in the fight was to not get punched by Gomi. I did not want to get in a trading war with him. He stuffed a couple of my shots but I opened it up and was able to get the choke."

"Part of the game plan was part of the high intense movement. I could feel the wind blow past me as he was swinging; he throws every punch from the hip."

"I want to make my way up towards a title fight; there is not exact number to how many fights that could be. Just sitting where I am at now, is exciting to me."

Jeremy Stephens (KO'd Marcus Davis in round three):

"I have power and I was trying to be light on my feet. I am a tiger and I have to hunt my prey."

"Marcus Davis is a freaking legend. He was winning and he got me with some takedowns, he has that old man strength. I was told that I was behind and I knew I had to bring it. Luckily I got him before he got me. I am so emotional and I fought with my heart."

Thiago Silva (Defeated Brandon Vera by decision):

"I was slapping at him to distract him so I could go for the choke. I am not here to choose any fighter; I want to fight the best that the UFC has."

"I was injured before and I trained hard for the fight, I want to become better every fight. Brandon Vera was talking a lot during our fight and he said a lot of bad things during the fight to get me aggravated which caused our run in at the end of the first round."
